The Triconex 3401 (DO3401) is a 16-channel Digital Output Module developed for the Trident Safety Instrumented System. It controls field devices such as shutdown solenoids, interposing relays, contactors, annunciators, and trip circuits. Each module contains three fully isolated electronic channels that independently receive commands from the Main Processor before applying voted output signals to the field load.
